Purpose and Concept
The purpose and concept of D.I.N.G.O.
D.I.N.G.O. stands for Dog Instructors Network of Great Opportunity. We believe many instructors wonder what they can do to increase the number of happy dogs and owners.
D.I.N.G.O. was born from that thought. We hope many excellent instructors will be the missionaries of modern and happy training all over the world and will be involved in activities contributing to the happiness of dogs and their people.
D.I.N.G.O. will be pleased to be of some help to support those instructors' activities, and change dog training from obligation to pleasure.
Training based on Science
By the efforts of predecessors, scientifically based training classes designed to teach useful behaviors for general dog owners are increasing. However if we think about the number of registered dogs, for instance there are 60 million dogs in the US, there is a need for more good training classes. To do this, we think we need to establish a system considering the two points below.
more recognition more good instructors.
To gain recognition, in addition to the normal PR and educating activities, we should show people our method and activities in various forms. Knowledgeable instructors conducting good training classes are a pressing need. At the same time, it is essential to have a system where instructors can earn their living in the field of dog training.
Not Obligation But Pleasure
People tend to think training is an obligation they do not look forward to. We as D.I.N.G.O. think dog training should go one step further and be seen as an enjoyable and beneficial time spent together. Dog training is a means to communicate with a dog, and it's something both the owner and his dog can enjoy.
With its step-by-step training program and various specialities, D.I.N.G.O. aims to meet every dog owner's need while providing motivation to train their dogs.
Many of existing training schools offer only beginner and intermediate classes. D.I.N.G.O. offers various training programs according to every dog owner's and his dog's levels so that he is able to continue to set his own training goal and enjoy training all through life. We hope this would help instructors business as the clients continue to come to school for training.
Concept for Speciality
To meet every dog owner's need and to cover what is not covered in the regular obedience training classes, D.I.N.G.O. has prepared Speciality Courses. There are courses for amateurs and instructors respectively. Instructors learn the skills to teach in instructor's speciality courses.
D.I.N.G.O.'s Role in Dog Society
D.I.N.G.O., as its name shows, is a system to support every instructor's business and activities in his area. When he holds training classes, seminars or training camps, D.I.N.G.O. supports and helps promote his event after we examine and approve the contents.
The system is structured to help instructors hold more classes for his students, to motivate every participant and to increase business opportunities.
